Puppy Information

If you are looking to adopt a puppy in 2025 or 2026, please complete the puppy questionnaire.  Once completed, we will contact you with the details for putting down your secure puppy deposit of $500 which is put towards the full price of $3500.

What will the puppy come with?

  • Preventative Deworming (Fenbendazole) at regular intervals
  • Vaccinations given at 6 weeks (Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parvo, & Parainfluenza)
  • Microchip + Prepaid Microchip Registration (AKC Reunite)
  • Pre-Paid AKC limited registration/Pet Homes Only-no breeding
  • 30 days of AKC health insurance
  • Additional 30 days of Trupanion Insurance Coverage 
  • Free veterinary office visit through the AKC Veterinary Network Certificate Program
  • AKC®Rx – a free one-month supply of Simparica Trio (parasite preventative)
  • A head to tail examination performed by our vet with a written report
  • We begin crate training 1-2 weeks prior to the puppies going home
  • Baby blanket with mom/littermate scent
  • Puppies are ready for their new homes at 8wks of age

What do I need for my new puppy?

  • A bag of food- (Purina ProPlan Large Breed Puppy)
  • Food and water bowls
  • An old towel for the drive home
  • Paper towels and or baby wipes
  • Chew toys. (no rawhides)
  • Moisturizing puppy shampoo and conditioner
  • A Lifestages Crate. Be sure to get the divider so the crate can grow with your puppy
  • A leash, collar and/or harness
  • Purina Pro Plan FortiFlora or ProViable Probiotics

How should I care for my Golden Retriever?

  • You should take your dog to the vet annually for a wellness checkup and shots
  • Your Golden Retriever needs to be on a flea, tick, & heart worm preventative
  • They need exercise daily
  • Goldens need to be brushed weekly
  • Clean their ears regularly
  • When your Golden is young, they need to be given proper items to chew
  • Socialization and training are key to a successful human-animal bond. We highly recommend seeking the help of a credentialed trainer early on
